Meet the team!

Dezi (AKA Coach Dezi)

Favorite Team: San Francisco 49ers

Favorite football memory: 1. Going to my first 49er game with one of my best friends. This also happened to be the NFC championship game where we beat the Falcons. Being raised by a single mom, we never had the money to go to a game growing up so this didn’t happen until I was well into my adult years. Which brings me to favorite football memory #2, I took my mom to her first 49er game in Jacksonville and the FAITHFUL treated her like a superstar.

Favorite tailgate food: Anything potato - chips, fries, mashed potatoes.

Favorite tailgate beverage: Grapefruit tonic on the rocks

What position would you play if you played football today: Linebacker or Defensive Coordinator.

Beth

Favorite Team: Buffalo Bills

Favorite football memory: I grew up during the Bills 4 Superbowl runs so our world revolved around football. My favorite memory was when we had a superbowl pep rally when I was 8. I didn’t have a Bills shirt to wear, so my sister painted me one. I still have it today and wear it!

Favorite tailgate food: Pizza & wings (With Blue Cheese!)

Favorite tailgate beverage: Labatt Blue when in Buffalo, a good IPA any other time

What position would you play if you played football today: Quarterback or Coach — I really like to be in control

Laura

Favorite Team: Detroit Lions

Favorite Football Memory: In 2014, my husband and I traveled to London to watch the Detroit Lions take on the Atlanta Falcons. The excitement started the day before the game when we attended the big NFL event in Trafalgar Square. We met a fan whose father had played on the Lions' 1957 championship team, and he was proudly wearing his dad's jacket and ring.

On game day, we had incredible seats in the front row of the upper bowl at Wembley Stadium. The season was still young, and Lions fans are always hopeful for a playoff run. The game was tight, with the Lions trailing the Falcons, but in the final seconds, a penalty was called during a field goal attempt. Because a game can't end on a defensive penalty, the Lions got another shot and nailed it. The stadium erupted. We were jumping, cheering, and celebrating like we had just won the Super Bowl.

That moment? Absolutely worth the trip.

Favorite tailgate food: I make a mean turkey chili

Favorite tailgate drink: Craft Beer - stout when it’s cold, IPA when it’s warm
